About Us
Old Lexington Farms is located atop Old Lexington Mountain 12 miles north of Clinton, Arkansas.  Nestled in the Ozarks with the middlefork of the Little Red River to the north and in the valley below, the 68 acre sheep farm and lamb operation includes a large portion of what once was the old timber town of Old Lexington on State Highway 110.  The farm's namesake seeks to preserve this part of Arkansas heritage and history.
When one purchases a registered Suffolk, Club Lamb, Locker Lamb or any of our products he or she is helping support local and sustainable Arkansas agriculture. We are not a "factory farm" operation.  Our sheep are not "doctored" with growth hormones and receive no antibiotics except in the rare instance of a life or death situation.  In other words, our sheep and lambs are hormone and antibiotic free and fresh off the pasture, with plenty of vitamins, minerals, and sunshine.  Our sheep and lambs are fed on orchard/fescue grass and lespedeza pastures and supplemented with alfalfa and grain.
Our mission is to produce high quality Arkansas breeding and show stock (Suffolk and Club Lamb Crosses), as well as excellent meat animals for slaughter, all at competitive prices. If a person should like to stop by the farm to check out our operation, please do so by appointment.  We would love to be able to meet you!

No occupation is so delightful . . . as the culture of the earth . . . .

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.
